This is a water level recorder located on the Burrishoole bridge on the main N59 road from Newport to Mulranny. The water from the Burrishoole catchment flows south through the Bridge from Lough Furnace to Clew Bay via the Burrishoole estuary. Water level is recorded every 15 mins on a continuous basis. The values on display are referenced to Malin Head. These data are real time (GMT) and raw- they have not yet been through the full quality checking procedures.
