This is a water level recorder on the Mill Race, one of two outlets from Lough Feeagh to Lough Furnace. Fish migrating up and down from Lough Feeagh will pass through this channel, depending on whether the flow of water is favourable. These data are real time (GMT) and raw. There is a fish trap downstream of this water level recorder, and sometimes, there will be a sharp drop in the water level after the screens of this fish trap have been cleaned.
