This is a water level recorder on the Yellow River, which drains through Commonage and private farmland before entering on the east side of Lough Furnace. It is a relatively short, spaity river, and hence rises and falls rapidly following rainfall. Temperature data can also be viewed from this sensor. These data are real time (GMT) and raw- they have not yet been through the full quality checking procedures. The maintenance of this site by the MI is kindly facilitated by local landowners.
